Delicious creamy red lentil soup for gourmets
Today, I'd like to share with you a recipe for a delicious creamy red lentil soup
that has been inspired by the old recipes of our grandmothers blended with my
own fantasy. It's a recipe that combines a unique combination of the right
ingredients to create a unique flavour and taste for your taste buds, which
will be appreciated by even the most fussy gourmets.
Soups are
an ideal warm dish that will satisfy your hunger, deliver energy while being
tasty and healthy. Adding soups to your daily menu is definitely a great choice
from which you will certainly benefit.
As you may
probably know, lentils are legumes full of proteins, minerals, vitamins and fibre
and therefore they are a great choice when on diet or as an after-exercise food
or just for keeping a healthy lifestyle. It has a beneficial effect on the
level of sugar in the blood, lowers cholesterol, and so especially the heart of
ours is pleased with this miracle of nature.
Red lentil is less known than black, but it is even tastier.

Ingredients:
- 1 coffee cup
of red lentil
- 1 medium
sized onion
- 1 potato
- 1 tomato
- 1 soup
spoon of rice
- 1 soup
spoon of bulgur
- 2 carrots
- 3 soup
spoons of olive oil
- one slice
of butter
- 1 tea
spoon of salt, black pepper and red sweet pepper
- 1 L of boiling
water
For serving
prepare:
- 1 soup
spoon of low fat yoghurt
- fresh parsley
leaves
Method of
preparation:
Wash carefully
all the ingredients. Fry the onion on the olive oil and butter, then add
chopped potato, tomato and carrots. Mix everything together and cook for about
5 minutes. Add the washed lentils, pour boiling water, add salt, pepper and red
sweet pepper according to your taste. Do not forget to add bulgur and rice. Cook
together until the ingredients are cooked. After cooking, blend with a hand
mixer with until you get a cream soup. Leave the soup still for about 10
minutes to let the ingredients combine to a perfect taste. Serve with whole
grain bread, white yogurt and parsley.
